Under the instruction of Paul Sowden's Alternative Style: Working With Alternate Style Sheets, I add a fascinating function of switching different styles to TIMELINE. Now as many other skinned websites, TIMELINE can present you the color scheme you prefer and you can switch between the RAINBOW and SKY styles as freely as you want.

Do you notice the two tiny buttons at the right corner of the navigation bar? Try clicking on them to see what would happen next.
One thing you should know about. When you pick SKY as your preferable color scheme and start to browse the blog, you might see the RAINBOW style first then it changes to SKY automatically. I assume that's because the RAINBOW is set to the default style and it takes a few seconds for the javascript to switch from the default one to the alternate stylesheet. I'm still working on it so please be patient. Hopefully I can solve the problem in no time [ hey, this is not a promise ].
Play with it and tell me what you like/dislike. Thanks.
Update:
Finally fix the problem -- I have inserted the javascript into the wrong place. Now it works fine. Special thanks to Wenjie.

Hmm.. Why was my comment deleted while the spammer's one's still there?
Was it? Did I delete your comment by mistake? If so, I'm so sorry about that.
Anyhow, it's so weird that all the comments I got in the past few days were from spammers. Could you recall when you made your last one? I might have delected it coz it was among more than 30 spam comments at one time. I did change the name of my cgi file but it worked for only a couple days. Spammers are back.
SORRY again and thank you for reminding me.
Oh I was going on about how much I loved your design (it really is very pretty!). Also pointed out some bugs - the date at the top left overlaps the entry text and the background is not showing for individual entries (I refreshed my browser a few times to clear the cached CSS).
Hi Chu Yeow,
Thanks for the info!
I noticed the blog looks weird [or maybe I'd say terrible? ]in Mozilla Firefox. Since I'm not a frequent Firefox user and in most time I'm using MSIE, I've been using MSIE as the main browser to check my design. Thus I failed to test the blog with different browsers and didn't make efforts to make it look consistent both in IE and Firefox. I just rewrote the templates to adjust the CSS layout to make it better in Firefox. But you may still find some details not very good, like the padding problem and the extra white strip on the right side. I don't know too much about the difference between IE and Firefox's performance with CSS. I'll try to improve it as long as I learn more.
Maybe it will be a good try.
Yea!! It's very comfertable to switch between Rainbow and Sky styles and those are really kool.
