1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Riding 16 roller coasters in a single day. Watching a Live! NBA game. Hiking in Yellow Stone.

2. Did you keep your New Years resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yep -- treating my friends well. Yep -- will treat them better.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yeah. A baby boy of Weiwei.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Luckily no.

5. What countries did you visit?
Going back to China for 3 weeks. Traveling to California, Yellowstone and around Milwaukee.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
More time on blogging and research. More chances to talk with parents.

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory?
June 17th.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Knowing what I will do in the next ten years.

9. What was your biggest failure?
The biggest one is the latest one. Bombed a research project which deserved better results.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Got cut by a piece of paper once, if it counts.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My 12' ibook and 4G Ipod, absolutely.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
All the people helping those in desperate.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
The one who keeps the war continue.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Gadgets.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Standing on the Golden Gate Bridge.

16. What song/album will always remind you of 2004?
Those Flowers by Fan Weiqi

happier or sadder? Happier.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Calling home more.

Eat and sleep.

Will? It should be past tense now, man!

Mom.

No romance so far.

Are you kidding me?!

The Apprentice. It's the only one I watched.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Yeah. still hated last year but much more this year.

Wo Men Sa (We Three) by Yang Jiang.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I don't know.

28. What did you want and get?
A successful year in study.

29. What did you want and not get?
Meeting a friend in Ohio. But I believe we will meet one day, not far away.

30. What were your favorite films of this year?
Can't recall.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Spent the whole day with a close friend when I turned 24.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Made a trip to Ohio.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Be yourself, all the time.

34. What kept you sane?
My career goal.

Lin Chiling.

The 2004 presidential election.

All I can't reach now.

A friend on the trip to Yellow Stone.
