Blog is the most looked-up word on Merriam-Webster's website this year. More and more people noticed blog and tried to figure the four-letter-word out. The blogosphere is gonna explode. I'm looking forward to that.

Though I can't quite agree with the definition. Journal, comments, links are the essential elements of a blog. But why is the reverse chronological order overlooked?
why not give a pronunciation, /blog/ or /'bi:log/? hehe, I set up a Blog to write something to practise writing, it's really a good way to tell others what I did or thought recently but hard to keep writing

I think the definition is succinct and accurate. I don't think reverse chron order is a requisite or inherent part of a blog. I present mine in both directions.
