Finally we are here: the last day of summer 2005. The past few days were amazingly summer that I almost forget it's Oct already. For the very first time I cycled with Ningzi on campus [ last time we didn't make it because my bike broke down on the way. Hopefully this is not the last time. ] When we approached the beach, I was speechless at what I saw: Sunset, ocean-like lake, young people jogging and cycling along the road, skyscrapers in downtown Chicago emerging from the other side of the lake... [ I'm realy a lousy writer. :( ] Regretfully I didn't bring along my camera but I've taken the pictures in my head.

I'll be home next summer. Hurrah!
