Forrester Research released a report on consumers' participation in social technologies. This is based on surveys of 4,475 US adults in December 2006 and 4,556 youth in October 2006. Forrester categorizes Social Computing behaviors into a ladder with six levels of participation [ I have a problem with the definition of Social Computing behaviors though]. They use the term Social Technographics® to describe a population according to its participation in these levels. The reports costs $279. Thanks to Dan Farber from ZDNET, we glance through the adoption of social technologies among consumers.
I'm curious about those who participate in more than one level. Are people involving in higher level of participation (content creation) more likely to consume content?
